The Project

The main goal is to combine the functionality of a locator created to respond to new needs and the sensory experience that recreates the product itself.

Stimmy is a project aimed primarily at neurodivergent people, who need frequent sensory stimuli.

Starting from the concept of stimming itself, we then arrived at a deeper analysis of the role of the fidget toy and how it can communicate with the user and recreate new rituals.

By breaking down the elements that characterize the archetype of a fidget toy (sound, texture, color...) I decided to bring values ​​such as poetry and fantasy into the design of Stimmy.
